We are hiring a mission-driven Mid-Level Systems Administrator to support secure, high-visibility environments where performance, reliability, and security are critical. In this role, you'll help sustain and enhance complex IT systems that power essential operations. * Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
* Manage IT infrastructure and related operational processes
* Provide day-to-day support for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile systems
* Monitor systems, resolve issues, and ensure operational continuity
* Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, including diagnosis and resolution
* Communicate issue status and escalations to leadership and internal stakeholders
* Support dispatch systems and remain engaged through full issue resolution
* Configure and administer UNIX and Windows operating systems
* Install, update, and maintain operating system software
* Troubleshoot and maintain system integrity
* Configure network components and implement OS enhancements to improve security, reliability, and performance Essential Responsibilities
* Stand up and configure Linux servers
* Apply system patches and upgrades
* Troubleshoot server-related issues
* Administer customer/user accounts
* Deploy monitoring tools
* Deploy applications and supporting tools
* Assist with escalated customer tickets What You'll Bring
* Active NSA TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) - required to be considered
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
* 5 additional years of Systems Administrator experience may substitute for the degree
* 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
* Strong Linux system administration background
* Minimum of 3 years of Linux system administration experience within the last 3 years
* Proficiency with Linux operating systems
* Experience with physical and virtual servers (rack/stack, networking, builds, deployment)
* Experience with log aggregation tools
* Experience researching and developing solutions to remediate IAVAs
* Hands-on experience with Ansible
* Experience building and maintaining VMware environments
* Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS experience
* Scripting experience (Python and/or Perl)
* Docker experience
