Network Manager

Tyto Athene is looking to hire a Network
Manager for a multi-year contract performing at Fort Meade, Maryland. The Network Manager is responsible for the reliability and security of an unclassified network comprising over 1,400 workstations and 800 Tb of storage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Cisco infrastructure, Palo Alto firewalls, and Nutanix SAN.
• Perform Capacity Management analysis to ensure network performance meets future workloads.
• Administer network monitoring tools such as Splunk, Big Fix, and ACAS.
• Maintain standard image baselines and security configuration baselines IAW DISA STIGs.
• Perform a daily network check for the mission by completing a detailed checklist and relaying the status of all items on the checklist daily.
• Support project reports by providing metrics, and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Follow established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and at least five years of relevant work experience or High School diploma with at least seven years of relevant work experience.
• U.S. Citizenship
• Experience with Windows Server 2019, Azure, Active Directory, and Google tools.

Desired:

• Advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified:
  Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Azure certifications, and ITIL v3/v4 Intermediate or higher.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop environments.
• Excellent knowledge of computer systems, applications, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• DOD 8570 Compliant Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III
• Certified Cisco Network Administrator (CCNA)

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
