Entry Level System Administrator Python Scripting

Job Description

Spry Squared is looking for an entry level System Administrator with solid scripting skills in Python, Perl, Ansible. Position is 100% onsite, no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Setup and manage new and existing applications, tools, services, and cloud environments.
• Automation & Scripting:
  Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Perl, Ansible Playbook) to streamline routine administrative tasks, deployments, and reporting.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications and APIs.

Required qualifications

• Must have active TOP SECRET clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other STEM field (or equivalent full-time professional experience).
• 2+ years of professional systems administration experience.
• Familiarity with network management, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with systems internals, logging, operational data from applications and infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration with technical and non-technical staff.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning new technologies.
• IAT Level I (A+‑CE, Network+CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security)

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 Depending on Experience
