Key Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may substitute).
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in‑depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management for escalated tickets.
  • Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution.
  • Configure and manage UNIX, Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements.
  • Configure and manage virtual environments.
  • Patch systems with state‑of‑the‑art security and functional parameters.
Nice to Have
  • Strong Red Hat Linux command‑line administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong Windows 2012/2016/2019 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Nessus Scanner and managing Nessus Agents.
  • Ability to write POA&Ms.
  • Knowledge of maintaining a Secure the Enterprise (STE)/ Secure the Network (STN) score.
  • Familiarity with Latte Art, Biscotti, XACTA.
