Summary
This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is for the DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia‑Bolling, District of Columbia. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career‑Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
Duties- Manages the day‑to‑day operations of the Visual Information Command, White House Master Control Section.
- Maintains and regularly accounts for inventoried property and supplies employed by the Visual Information Command.
- Oversees the operations of various fixed broadcast system installations on the White House complex.
- Coordinates activities of broadcast technicians. Responsible for all technical aspects of production including on‑air broadcast monitoring, live program support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ensures that picture and sound quality meet professional television broadcast and webcast technical standards.
- Serves as lead audio‑visual and teleprompter operator for Senior White House officials during live and video‑taped requirements from the White House Complex.
- Serves as Archivist and Record Management Custodian to properly catalog and archive in accordance with the Presidential Records Act.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- This national security position may require access to classified information and requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

- This is a Top Secret/SCI position with Yankee White.
- This is a Mission Essential position.
- This position is covered under DoD Manual 8140, which will be subject to future Cyber Workforce requirements as defined by the Manual.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Basic Requirements- Undergraduate and Graduate
Education:
Major study in photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. - Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month‑for‑month basis.
- OR Experience in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position. This includes work directly connected with the production aspects of the field(s) of the position to be filled.
- For a GG‑12 grade level, resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success. Experience includes paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and military service, equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
- Experience managing or directing all technical aspects of production, such as picture and sound quality to meet technical standards of the television industry.

Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an SSBI, AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White – Category II, minimum).
