The Opportunity We are searching for an Application Engineer to support Active Network Defense (AND), Computer Network Defense (CND), and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) programs. You will help safeguard customer systems, counter threats, and maintain enterprise security tools.

• Perform essential system administration functions for Linux and Windows servers.
• Configure, maintain, and automate processes for Linux and Windows servers, including device hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Install and troubleshoot sensor devices.
• Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades promptly; troubleshoot server issues.
• Administer customer accounts and assist with escalated customer tickets.
• Deploy monitoring tools and applications.
• Monitor Windows and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience in Windows and Linux server system administration.
• VMware architecture administration experience.
• Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
• Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Security+ certification.
• Education and Experience:
  • 10 years with High School Diploma/GED
  • 8 years with Associate’s Degree
  • 6 years with Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years with Master’s Degree
  • 2 years with Doctorate’s Degree

• Hardware installation and cabling experience.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Network experience, including architecture, switch administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS/VMs.

Proposed Salary Range: $103,800 – $218,100
