BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 3 to support operations in Hanover, Maryland.

The Operational Language Analyst will perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Desired Languages:

• Spanish
• Farsi
• Russian
• Somali

At least 10 years of full-time experience in language processing, translation, or related fields.

ILR skill level 3 in audio and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English, or a DLPT score of 3 in listening and/or reading.

10 years in crypto language processing, related language, and/or crypto experience.

Related Language Experience includes oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, document exploitation, and formal teaching.

Additional requirements include:

• 6 of the 10 years in crypto language processing must include QC’ing and mentoring.
• 6 of the 10 years must be in the required language(s).
• If working with multiple languages, at least 4 of the 6 years must be in crypto language processing, and 3 in translating, transcribing, or gisting.
• 1 year experience QC’ing at ILR level 3 in the target language.
• No more than 3 years in reporting as the primary duty.
• One of the 6 years in the target language must be within 6 years of the resume submission date.

Education and Experience:

Mid/Senior positions require a bachelor's degree or an additional four years of relevant experience.

Pay Range: $160,000 to $190,000, depending on location and experience. The BTS pay range is a guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Compensation considers role responsibilities, educational background, experience, and competencies.
