Information Technology Technician – Cable and Fiber Installer and Repair – Telework Position with up to 50% travel CONUS/OCONUSTelework Position with up to 50% travel CONUS/OCONUS

Responsibilities
- Ability to work and stay motivated working independently and within a team.
- Build and install communications equipment racks within a fixed facility (building).
- Estimate, build, install and groom cable/fiber within fixed facilities including overhead and underfloor installation.
- Perform power distribution analysis for communications racks.
- Assist Network and SATCOM Engineers in integration of fixed facility communications.
- Troubleshoot, fix, and upgrade Customer systems.
- Analyze existing systems and make proactive recommendations for improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience with cable/fiber installation and repair.
- Experience with Microsoft products including SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SATCOM systems.
Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in installation of telecommunication systems.
Degree Requirement: USA/USAF/USN Technical School Diploma.
Minimum Clearance Requirement: Minimum active DoD Secret clearance.
Valid Passport Required.
