Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a data architect, you will apply your creative thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for a data architect to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions.

As a data architect on our team, you’ll lead the design of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams, work with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development, and analyze data architecture-related business needs.

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect
• Experience coding with Java or Python
• Experience working with agency departments, DoD-wide stakeholders, subcontractors, external vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and uptime of mission‑critical systems
• Knowledge of Git Hub or Git Lab with semantic version control, as well as IaC and infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible
• Knowledge of DoD networks and organizations
• Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  methodologies and workflows to build pipelines, as well as containerized deployments and orchestration
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 9 months of start date

• Experience supporting Coalition or Mission partners and combatant commands during the planning and execution of operations and exercises
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
• Experience with Java or Python
• Experience using Git Hub or Git Lab with semantic version control
• Experience in IaC and infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible
• Top Secret clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience.
