What You Will Do
The candidate shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:
- Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information
- Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language
- Performing quality control on language processing activities
- Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases
- Drafting intelligence reports
What We Are Looking For
- 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 0 years of experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience
- Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Somali into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
