* Design and implement scalable network solutions, new layouts, and upgrades.

* Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.

* Enhance network security with firewall rules, access controls, and robust security protocols.

* Quickly resolve network issues to ensure seamless operations.

* Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and use metrics and alerts for continuous improvement.

* Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

* An active NSA TS/SCI with Polygraph.

* Bachelor's degree in network engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or information technologies from an accredited college or university. Alternatively, 4 years of additional network engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

* 12 years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

* Minimum of 3 years of recent Network Engineer experience.

* Proficiency with Linux;
Linux system administration experience is a plus.

* CCNA or CCNP certification.

* Security+ certification. Desired:
* Experience with Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

* Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, Dell and HPE Linux servers.

* Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.

* Familiarity with Ansible, Nutanix, Rubrik, Nomad containers, SALT scripts, Libre

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
