Sr. Network Engineer

Sr. Network Engineer –
Fort Meade, MD (location may change based on client needs). TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required.

• Design and implement network solutions, including load‑balancing, VPNs, firewalls, GRE tunneling, IPSEC, NAT, VOIP, and other DoD/IC regulations.
• Configure, test, deploy, and maintain network equipment, ensuring optimal end‑to‑end performance and data flow.
• Analyze network characteristics, troubleshoot problems, and recommend procurement or modifications to network components.
• Maintain network diagrams, certifications, and compliance with ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulations.
• Collaborate with system engineering and data flow teams to minimize downtime and support mission operations.
• Lead large efforts to define requirements, guide junior engineers, and manage tasks.

• 12+ years in similar scope, type, and complexity;
  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or four years of network engineering experience may substitute a degree.
• Minimum 3 years as a Network Engineer in the last 3 years.
• Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls; CCNA or CCNP;
  Security+ certification.
• Experience with Linux and Windows;
  Linux/Windows system administration experience is a plus.
• Proficient with networking tools, scripts (Ansible/Salt), and cloud environments (AWS/VMs).

• Experience patching/upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• Experience with Ansible/Salt scripts and AWS/VMs.
