IDR is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Meade, MD. This role involves designing and supporting complex telecommunications systems within a secure environment. The company operates within the defense and government services industry, focusing on advanced network solutions and communications technologies.

Position Overview for the Telecommunications Engineer:
* Architect and design complex telecommunications systems to meet operational requirements

* Support the development and implementation of test plans and procedures for network systems

* Manage network technology, components, systems, and vendor collaborations

* Support information technology projects, ensuring adherence to risk, cost, schedule, and performance metrics

* Conduct system research, issue resolution, and configuration management within a secure environment
Requirements for the Telecommunications Engineer:
* Experience working as a telecommunications engineer

* Experience in architecting and designing complex systems

* Experience with network technology, components, systems, and vendors

* Ability to develop requirements and technical solutions

* Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam
