Jardeg is recruiting a Class 1 Truck Driver with proven experience to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. maintenance team at Suncor Forthills near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a permanent position starting starting March 19th, 2026 on a 7 days on 7 days off rotation
An Equipment Operator will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper load securement and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
- Communicate and review hand signals with spotter.
- Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment.
- Read and understand the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment.
- Properly maintain and service or has equipment serviced daily.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating Super B trailers.
- Rigging Experience
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
- ESC Fall Protection
- 3-Years Driver’s Abstract
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
