APE Maintenance is seeking local Heavy Duty Mechanics for work in the North Fort McMurray oil sands region. This role involves diagnostics, repairs, and support for large mining equipment as part of a professional maintenance team. Candidates must be local, as no camp or flights are provided. Benefits and pension eligibility are included after the probation period.

• Red Seal or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
• Minimum 3 years experience with haul trucks, graders, dozers, etc.
• Valid driver’s license
• CSTS, OSSA/BSO or CSO
• Fall arrest, WHMIS, rigging, aerial work platform certification
• Strong safety record
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Communication and reporting skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated safety leadership
