• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Remove dirt, paint, grease, debris and other built‑up material from surfaces.
• Set up and operate a blast pot, spray pump or similar equipment.
• Fill blast pots and maintain blasting equipment with repairs as needed.
• Assist with painting, spray application or brush & roll as needed.
• Problem‑solve in real time and troubleshoot various equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Perform field‑level risk assessments.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers & supervisors.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.

• Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract required;
  Class 3 is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years working in an abrasive blasting setting; familiarity with mobile blast equipment, power tools, and safe operating procedures.
• Experience working in the oilsands is an asset.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly throughout the day.
• Able to work at heights; ability to work from JLG & crane with man basket is a must.
• Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged.
• Work under minimal supervision in a team and safety‑focused environment.
• Ability to work day & night shift on a 14/14 shift rotation.
• Capable of working outside in various weather conditions.
