Instructor, Corporate Training The Opportunity
The Corporate Training department at Keyano College is currently seeking Instructors to teach a variety of courses. This position is a casual contract position on an as needed basis.
Applicants must feel comfortable working in a classroom with adults of all abilities and backgrounds.
The Corporate Training instructors deliver quality classes and share subject matter expertise with students within the curriculum and course outline. The instructors also track attendance and provide feedback to students.
Note:
this is not a remote or hybrid work opportunity, you will be required to work on campus and other locations within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Preference will be given to candidates currently living in Fort McMurray.

- Primarily teach their specific courses.
- Maintain professional competence and knowledge of subject matter.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with teaching experience.
- Post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Other teaching experience may be considered.
- Proficient with the use of learning technologies.
- Excellent classroom management and instructional skills.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Dependable and resourceful team member with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities with a calm professional approach.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Please note that if your education was received internationally, upon hire we will require you to provide an international education assessment completed through WES, IQAS or one of the other IRCC approved designated organization.
Compensation and Benefits
- Placement on the wage grid is reflective upon educational and experiential qualifications.
