Administrative Support 2 (AS2) based on 40 hours per week: $23.79 - $26.76 per hour
Administrative Support 3 (AS3) based on 36.25 hours per week: $23.34 - $29.53 per hour
Regular Wage employees receive 11.6% in lieu of benefits and vacation leave.
- 5.6% of regular wage earnings instead of paid holidays
- 6% of regular wage earnings instead of annual vacation pay
Shift Premium Pay:
- $3.25 per hour for weekends and holidays
- $2.75 per hour for evenings
Wage employees may be entitled to the Fort McMurray Allowance.

Fort McMurray DistrictThe Fort McMurray District is a part of the North Region, including Gregoire Lake Provincial Park, Hangingstone, Maqua Lake, and Crow Lake Provincial Parks.
The Fort McMurray District is seeking motivated, courteous, and hardworking individuals with exceptional customer service skills to fill the Seasonal District Support and Information Officer positions at Gregoire Lake Provincial Park.
Role Responsibilities Information Officer (IO)The IO is based indoors at the registration booth/concession. Responsibilities include providing exceptional front-line customer service while registering campers and delivering information about park activities, regulations, and amenities. IOs are expected to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors in-person, over the phone, or online.
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail, work well under pressure.
- Conflict resolution skills to manage customer complaints and facilitate feedback.
The position has a combination of duties, supporting and assisting with daily operations at park facilities. The primary purpose is to be the first point of contact for Information Officers, providing guidance, ensuring excellent customer service, and collaborating with team members.
Supports the Area Office Coordinator through revenue tracking and reconciliation and other administrative tasks.

- Record safety, accident, or wildlife occurrence information on reports and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain lost and found records; tag and organize found items efficiently.
- Assist in distribution of information-based communications (posters, brochures, program advertisements).
- Maintain knowledge of recreational/tourist opportunities to respond to in-person and telephone/email requests.
- Use system to register campers, process changes, cancellations, checkouts, reservations, payments, and refunds.
- Operate cash register and point-of-sale machine using ASPIRA software; ensure accurate and balanced floats and cash outs.
- Open and close tasks/procedures; maintain building security, cleanliness, organization, and safety; report maintenance issues immediately.
- Communicate hours of operation to visitors; keep facilities open during scheduled hours.
- Retail sales of firewood, concession items, ice, ice cream, and rentals (where applicable).
- Inventory management and control, restocking merchandise, tidy general area, inform supervisor of low stock.
