Job Description- Drives truck with low-boy trailer with equipment to and from garage or storage site to work site
- Load and unload equipment
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintains accurate records
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining vehicle
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Safety regulations and precautions pertaining to vehicle use
- Safe and proper use of assigned equipment.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions from Supervisors.
- Ability to follow all safety instructions.
- Ability to report to work on time and as scheduled.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Incumbent drives on surface streets and operates equipment on unpaved surfaces. Worker occasionally works past normal office hours to complete assignments. The Truck Driver has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects. The driver will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
The driver must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way
Class A license required.
