Compensation Information
- Operator Assistant II: $18.00/hr.
- Maximum potential annual earnings: $89,000/yearly.
- Sign‑on bonus $1,000 (subject to conditions and approvals by area leadership).
- Daily per diem: $45/day.
- Monthly stipend of $300 for Fort Lupton, CO.
- Hotel accommodations for 60 days for relocation to Fort Lupton, CO.
- 2 weeks on / 1 week off schedule. (Schedule may be adjusted based on industry needs.)
- Under strict supervision, assist with rigging‑up and rigging‑down of surface and downhole well‑logging equipment to record subsurface geological formations.
- Assist with rigging‑up and rigging‑down of electric, nuclear, sonic, and other well‑logging tools, as well as pressure control equipment.
- Assist with operation of well logging equipment on job sites.
- Assemble downhole well‑logging tools.
- Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on down‑hole and surface well logging equipment.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑job vehicle and equipment inspections and submit associated paperwork/reports.
- Tasks performed correctly have minimal impact on organizational viability. Errors are readily identified by the supervisor and can be corrected.
Work Authorization: Candidates not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor work visas for this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3–6 months experience as an Operator Assistant I‑L&P or 1 year related experience in oil field service (rig operations).
- CDL with manual transmission (required).
- Successful completion of Well Control Accreditation Program may be required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills (preferred).
- Knowledge of basic HMS and HSE standards and guidelines for PSL personnel.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
