Creative Director – Fine Jewelry Design & Merchandising
Vlora is seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative and commercial direction of our product. This role is for a designer who evolved into a merchandiser — someone who pairs exceptional taste with a sharp understanding of what actually sells in fine jewelry.
You will own the creative vision, product assortment, and storytelling behind our collections, while managing a team of sketch artists and CAD designers and collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing. This is not a “concept-only” role — it’s about building beautiful, profitable collections that resonate with a high-end customer.
What You’ll Do- Set and execute the overall creative and product vision for Vlora Jewelry
- Lead and manage a team of sketch artists and CAD designers, ensuring clarity, consistency, and execution speed
- Own merchandising strategy across collections: line architecture, assortment depth, pricing tiers, and category balance
- Translate brand positioning into clear product stories that sales teams can confidently sell
- Partner deeply with Sales to understand retailer feedback, sell-through, and market demand
- Collaborate with Marketing to align launches, campaigns, and product narratives
- Use sales data, product performance, and margin analysis to guide future designs and edits
- Ensure all designs balance aesthetic excellence, manufacturability, cost, and velocity
- A proven Creative Director, Head of Design, or Senior Designer in fine jewelry
- A designer first, but fluent in merchandising, pricing logic, and product economics
- Someone who understands financial jewelry — bridal, core fashion, and repeatable sellers
- Highly data-aware: comfortable reviewing sell-through, margins, and SKU performance
- A confident leader who can elevate creative teams without losing commercial discipline
- Personally aligned with the high-end jewelry customer — your taste reflects the brand we want to attract
