Sr Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
• Managing, reviewing and approving Finance Department's Journal Entries
• Monitoring and analyzing the financial data
• Assisting Controller to prepare financial reports and/or financial statements for the company
• Reviewing and analyzing the corporate tax return
• Reviewing and analyzing sales tax transactions
• In charge of internal and external audits
• Preparing and drafting performance reports for the Parent Company
• In charge of month end, quarter end, and year end closings
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting principles
• Working on ad‑hoc projects assigned by the Controller
• Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, professionalism and excellence
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Strong understanding of accounting knowledge & US GAAP
• Proficiency in Excel (V‑lookup, Pivot Table is mandatory)
• Close attention to detail
• Bilingual in English & Korean required
• Strong ability to analyze information
• Extensive experience with SAP Biz One preferred
• Experience working in the US branch of a listed company in Korea is strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
