Truck Driver – Local Class A Hazmat – Penske Logistics

Join to apply for this role at Penske Logistics. You’ll drive a class A CDL truck with a hazardous materials endorsement, delivering medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers across the region.

• Earn $30.24 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
• Local, home daily

• Late‑model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best‑in‑class specs for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras to enhance safety

• Deliver medical supplies required for patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
• Complete 10 to 12 stops per day, working a four‑day work week with rotating Saturdays
• Start early AM, maintain home daily

• Valid CDL Class A license with "H" (Hazmat) endorsement; U.S. domiciled and licensed in the state of residence
• Valid interstate DOT medical card within the last 3 years or ability to obtain one
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years (or 2 years in the last 5 years)
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with no more than two moving violations or accidents
• Regular, predictable, full attendance essential
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal regulations
• Complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening
• Ability to work safely in a constant state of alertness; responsible for your own and others’ safety

• Must meet physical and mental demands of the role; reasonable accommodations available
• Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to move, stand, walk, and sit frequently; touch, handle, reach with hands and arms
• Can lift up to 50 lb (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lb (45 kg) occasionally
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and enter/exit the vehicle and cargo area safely
