Volant Logistical Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of jet fuel to various airports. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations and a commitment to timely deliveries, ensuring the highest standards of quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Inspections:
  Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Loading and Unloading:
  Safely load and unload fuel following company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Record Keeping:
  Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including fuel quantities, delivery times, and any incidents.
• Route Adherence:
  Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communication:
  Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
  Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
• Incident Reporting:
  Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel.
• Policy Adherence:
  Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

• Licensing:
  Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a tanker endorsement and Hazmat endorsement.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a fuel tanker or similar vehicle.
• TWIC Card:
  Required for access to certain locations.
• Driving Record:
  Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Regulatory Knowledge:
  In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to hazardous materials transportation.
• Attention to Detail:
  Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
