Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Mechanic based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and fleet equipment. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and executing repairs promptly. This role requires adherence to safety standards, attention to detail, and ensuring all work meets quality expectations.
Qualifications- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair processes
- Experience with routine maintenance, brake systems, and engine repair
- Knowledge of electrical systems, fuel systems, and HVAC; ability to repair related issues
- Familiarity with operating specialized tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ASE Certification or equivalent is a plus
