Marine Electrician

The position is based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and primarily services Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties. Company vehicles are provided.

Typical Pay Range (Based on skills/experience): $30-$60/hr

• Monday through Friday starting at 8am
• 8-hour work days excluding lunch time
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime is paid 1.5 times the standard hourly rate
• 401k with 3% salary company contribution

• 5 years experience in the Marine Electrical field
• ABYC Electrical Certification, Manufacturer Specific Trainings / certifications
• Strong troubleshooting skills, and electrical theoretical knowledge and calculations
• Must have and understand how to use power and hand tools
• Ability to understand and produce electrical drawings
• Personable and able to communicate with customers and co-workers
• Physically fit and able to work in tight spaces onboard vessels
• Proficient with the use of computers
• Familiar with general marine installation and wiring practices such as understanding best hardware mounting practices, waterproofing, termination methods, chafe protection, circuit protection, cleanliness

• Repair and installation of power supply and distribution systems (AC & DC)
• Repair and installation of power conversion equipment as well as inverters and frequency drives
• General troubleshooting and repair of various equipment’s power supplies
