Marine Electrician – Superyacht

Seeking an experienced marine technician to join our yacht company based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Company vehicles are provided.

Typical Pay Range (Based on skills/experience): $30-$60/hr

Monday through Friday starting at 8am

8-hour work days excluding lunch time

40 hours per week

Overtime is paid 1.5 times the standard hourly rate

401k with 3% salary company contribution

100% paid health and dental insurance

6 paid holidays

Paid vacation (1, 2, or 3 weeks based on employment time)

Training

• 5 years experience in the Marine Electrical field
• ABYC Electrical Certification, Manufacturer Specific Trainings / certifications
• Strong troubleshooting skills, and electrical theoretical knowledge and calculations
• Must have and understand how to use power and hand tools
• Ability to understand and produce electrical drawings
• Personable and able to communicate with customers and co-workers
• Physically fit and able to work in tight spaces onboard vessels
• Proficient with the use of computers
• Familiar with general marine installation and wiring practices such as understanding best hardware mounting

• Repair and installation of power supply and distribution systems (AC & DC)
• Repair and installation of power conversion equipment as well as inverters and frequency drives
• General troubleshooting and repair of various equipment’s power supplies
