DescriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. What You Will Do- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of healthcare equipment and systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform routine repairs and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or failures in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and healthcare professionals to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials and equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and industry standards in healthcare maintenance to provide effective and efficient services.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare equipment, systems, and industry codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Flexibility to work on‑call or in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
