- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
- Operate the front desk in a commercial office location by greeting visitors, answering calls, and directing guests to the appropriate tenant or contact.
- Assist with access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, vendor, and contractor logs per site requirements.
- Monitor lobby activity and report unusual conditions that may help deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, including contacting building management and/or emergency services as directed.
- Monitor building systems such as cameras, intercoms, and alarm panels when assigned, and document alarms and service calls per post orders.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, property management, and service providers to support smooth daily operations and timely resolution of security‑related concerns.
- Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and visitor records with accurate, timely, and detailed information.
- Enforce property rules and building protocols consistently while maintaining a customer‑focused approach at the reception area.
- Support emergency procedures such as evacuations and medical response by following site instructions and providing clear directions to occupants and responders.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
