Position: Revenue Sales Manager (Founder-Led Growth)

We are hiring a Revenue Sales Manager to own and scale revenue in a founder-led marketing company. This role starts hands-on in closing and progresses into building and leading the sales function once revenue motion is proven.

This position requires direct, end-to-end B2B closing experience and the ability to operate in an early-stage, non-corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities Revenue & Closing
  • Own the full B2B sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Personally close deals to establish repeatable revenue motion
  • Handle inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
  • Must close early client deals before hiring a team
  • Define and document the sales process, qualification criteria, and deal flow
  • Collaborate with the founder to refine ICP, positioning, and pricing
  • Implement and maintain a practical CRM setup
Team Growth (Post-Validation)
  • Hire, onboard, and train sales reps after the sales process is validated
  • Lead by example with continued deal involvement
  • Monitor performance and improve conversion efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • Background in early-stage, founder-led, or growth-stage companies
  • Experience building or refining sales processes from scratch
  • Comfortable operating without heavy brand or inbound volume
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and pipeline management skills
  • Hands on closer at first, build systems/processes/team
Preferred Background
  • Former founder or early sales hire
  • Sales manager who was previously a top individual contributor
  • Experience scaling revenue before scaling headcount
Not a Fit If
  • Your experience is primarily BDR, SDR, Rev Ops, or sales enablement
  • You have not personally closed deals
  • Have not build a sales department from zero
