Insurance Sales Manager

Overview

Results-driven sales/account manager needed to drive business growth and expand the client base within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance compliance and excellent communication skills. This role focuses on selling the client's insurance licensing and compliance SaaS platform to agents, agencies, carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and other insurance distribution models.

• Sales and Business Development — Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance sector.
• Client Engagement and Account Management — Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their licensing and compliance needs.
• Industry Expertise and Market Awareness — Stay informed about licensing regulations and industry trends.
• Sales Strategy and Performance Tracking — Own the full sales cycle; manage the entire sales process.

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the software technology and insurance industry, preferably in licensing, compliance, or related solutions.
• Must have experience selling SaaS products.
• Experience navigating and negotiating pricing discussions.
• Strong understanding of insurance licensing processes, compliance regulations, and industry organizations (NAIC, NIPR).
• Proven ability to deliver effective product demos and sales presentations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally for industry events and client meetings.
