We are seeking an energetic, dependable Sales Associate to join our growing team. You will directly assist customers, process transactions, help merchandise the sales floor, and play a vital role in making our retail experience a positive one. Top-notch customer service skills are a must, as is the ability to learn product knowledge quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome and greet customers as they enter the storeOffer help and provide direct assistance to customersProvide in-depth product knowledge including features, benefits, and overall valueAnswer customer questions and concernsAttend to unique and individual shopping needs of each customerCross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-onsUpsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, coupon deals, etc.Explain store-member benefits and encourage customers to sign upProcess purchases, returns, and exchangesHandle customer complaints in a calm and professional mannerReport anything unusual, or any major incidents, to managementHelp organize backstock and perform inventory countsProcess newly received shipmentsOrganize and replenish front stock and help merchandise the storeMaintain a clean and tidy work and retail spaceBe enthusiastic and informative about all productsHelp create a positive environment in which to shop and buyWork as a team to achieve sales goalsQualifications
Wine and spirits experience in a retail sales environment a major plusComputer literate; familiarity using POS systemsExtremely personable, positive, and approachableFantastic customer service skillsComfortable standing for long periods of time; can lift 50 lbs. with or without accommodationsOk with shift scheduling, working weekends, and holidaysBenefits
