Position Overview:
The Order Operations Manager oversees end-to-end order processing across retail and eCommerce channels. This role ensures accurate, timely, and efficient order fulfillment while improving operational workflows, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at managing cross-functional operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Order Management & Fulfillment:
Manage the full order lifecycle from order placement to delivery and returns. - Ensure accurate order processing across POS and eCommerce platforms.
- Monitor daily order volume and fulfillment performance.
- Resolve order exceptions, delays, and escalations efficiently.
- Retail & eCommerce Operations:
Coordinate order flow between retail stores, warehouses, and third party logistics providers. - Ensure consistency and accuracy across online and in-store order systems.
- Process Improvement & Reporting:
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce errors and costs. - Develop and track KPIs (order accuracy, fulfillment time, cancellation rate, returns).
- Prepare operational reports and present insights to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Customer Service to resolve customer order issues. - Work closely with Warehouse, Logistics, IT, and Finance teams.
- Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure compliance with company policies, and vendor agreements. - Maintain data accuracy and documentation standards.
- Support audits and operational reviews as needed.
- 35+ years of experience in order operations, fulfillment, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in both retail and eCommerce environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with order management systems and Excel.
