BBQ Meat Cutter

Job Description

• Cut and portion various meats, including beef, pork, poultry, and specialty meats.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the kitchen manager for ordering and stock rotation.
• Ensure all meat products are stored, handled, and prepared according to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests and answering questions about our meats and preparation methods.
• Be willing to learn and work in multiple kitchen stations when needed to facilitate service.

• Previous experience as a Meat Cutter, Butcher, or in a similar role, preferably in a BBQ or meat-focused restaurant.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of various meat cuts and preparation techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable transportation.

Schedule:

12 hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Weekends as needed.
