Java & Jam in Ft. Lauderdale is looking for an experienced candidate for Barista position. We are searching for great people that want to be part of a strong team, make money, and contribute in a positive way. We are a high volume, downtown experience for leisurely locals, caffeine-seekers, breakfast on-the-run goers, and business power lunch professionals alike. Full and Part-Time Positions are available.

• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or food service industry (e.g. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Barista experience and latte art is required.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Fun and outgoing attitude!
• Restock stations and keep them clean and organized.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
• Take orders from guests in person as well as handle To-go and delivery pickups
• Create delicious coffee’s and cocktails for the restaurant and walk up guests
• Communicate effectively with management and floor teams
• Uphold service standards and create a positive guest experience
