Kitchen Steward

$14.00 per hour. Are you passionate about cooking and ready to bring your skills to a kitchen that makes a difference? Arc Broward is looking for a Kitchen Steward to join our team.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, floors, etc.
• Stock all supplies as directed by Executive Chef, Sous Chef and cook positions.
• Maintain a pace of work, which allows supplies and equipment to be cleaned and put in their proper place, which meets business demands.
• Understand the proper use of chemicals.

• Experience as a steward or in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must successfully complete required screening:
  Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Effective communication skills with verbal and written English fluency is required.
