Our bartenders are life‑of‑the‑party, gregarious rockstars who know most of their regulars by name. It’s a “Come One, Come All” family‑run restaurant that welcomes people from all over for great food, great drinks, and great fun. We serve continuously from open until late night and are a home away from home for many Floridians.

• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Mix liquor and drink ingredients according to company recipes and measures
• Serve guests in a cheerful and courteous temperament and display a neat and clean professional image
• Maintain a neat and clean, properly stocked bar
• Verify correct pricing for drinks
• Be knowledgeable of drink promotions and specials and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system in a timely manner
• Assess guests’ demeanor, identify intoxicated guests, and determine when to summon a Manager
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
• Physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
• Reach, bend, stoop, stir, wipe, and shake drinks vigorously
• Immerse hands in water frequently
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Speak, read, and write English; read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc.
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Request proper identification and manually calculate and determine guests’ age
• Work a five‑day work week
• Shift meals at 50% off

• Ability to serve food according to the Server Job Description requisites
• Mandatory completion and passing of the Florida Responsible Vendor program and vendor food safety certification
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc.
• Must be 21 or Over to enroll 401K Plan; immediate eligibility
• Ability to physically stand/walk 100 % of shift, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform required sidework

• Paid vacation:
  One week after year one, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after ten years
