Server, Server​/Wait Staff

Overview

Shooters Waterfront is seeking exceptional Server candidates to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, and upbeat candidates who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

Reports to: Restaurant Manager.

• Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a high-volume, outdoor atmosphere.
• Must be able to present themselves in a professional manner and anticipate guests' needs.
• Be knowledgeable on the menu and specials to make recommendations and answer questions.
• Work with fellow teammates (i.e., bussers, bartenders, food runners, chefs) to ensure all of the guest's needs are met in a timely manner.
• Remain positive and friendly when responding to guest complaints or issues.
• Assist with opening and closing duties such as prepping tables, dining areas, and ensuring items are stocked.
• Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking guidelines are met.
• Adhere to the dress code, appearance, and grooming standards specified by management.
• Ability to lift and move multiple tables, chairs, and podiums weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

• 2 to 3 years of continuous high-volume in full-service restaurant experience.
• Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Liquor, beer, and wine knowledge is a must.
• Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
