We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Bakery Enzyme Lab Technician to join our team. This position involves conducting laboratory experiments to evaluate the performance of enzymes in bakery formulations. The role requires a strong foundation in food science and a passion for quality assurance in the bakery industry.

• Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate the performance of enzymes in bakery formulations.
• Prepare and analyze samples using standard food science techniques.
• Record, interpret, and accurately report experimental data.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing enzyme applications for various bakery products.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to support product development and scale-up.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in enzyme technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of baking ingredients and formulation science.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food additives.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

The position is based in a bakery lab, where the technician will work with a variety of laboratory equipment. The role requires adherence to safety and quality protocols, while collaborating with R&D and production teams in a dynamic environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $40.86/hr.
