Overview
As a Groundskeeper, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building/facility.

Pay Range: $16 - $18/hr
Schedule:
Thurs-Mon 8:00am-4:30pm
- Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
- Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
- May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
- Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
- Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3ft)
- Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain)
- Walk and climb stairs
- Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
- Reach with hands and arms
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
- Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
- Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
- Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
- Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
- Must be service oriented.
- Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
- Checks sports equipment to make sure it is in order for guest to use.
- Reports broken sports equipment to the manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered.
- Must have the ability to work as a team member.
- Must be accessible to and approachable to residents/guests.
- Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
- Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision.
