Registered Nurse IR - Fort Lauderdale, FL

A specialized nursing role is available for an experienced RN with expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP). Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care in an Interventional Radiology setting with a focus on EP procedures
• Administer patient care following established standards and protocols using IR equipment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation through Meditech systems
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding to hospital needs within 30 minutes, approximately 7-10 days per month
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Prior hands-on experience in Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology nursing essential
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 shifts per month, including alternating weekends and 12-hour shifts (10s preferred)
• Comfort functioning independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Surgical scrubs provided

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts (preferred)
• Minimum of 10 shifts monthly
• Alternating weekends required
