Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong transplant and proficiency in Misonix/CUSA for a teaching hospital position.

Job Details

• Work in the hospital operating room with primary focus on liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants,

• Care for patients receiving new organs, requiring experience with organ implantation,

• Proficiency with Misonix/CUSA equipment is required,

• Charting is performed using Epic,

• Shifts are day/evening (11:00-23:30), 3x12 hours per week,

• On-call required: 1 shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month,

• Floating within scope to meet hospital needs may be required,

• Free parking is available in any unrestricted space,

• Scrub color is ceil blue,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license (pending license considered),

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration,

• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start,

• Minimum of 2 years direct operating room experience in liver and other major organ transplants,

• Demonstrated proficiency with Misonix/CUSA,

• Documented experience with transplant implantation procedures,

• Negative 10-panel drug screen with nicotine (cotinine) testing required,

• All RTO must be declared at time of consideration,

• Primary responsibilities include direct patient care in the operating room with a focus on organ transplantation,

• First-time travelers are accepted,

• This is a smoke-free facility and all travelers must be nicotine free,

• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized upon confirmation,

• Position is in a teaching hospital environment,

• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location are limited to 18 consecutive months with a 6-month gap required before returning,
