Manager, Nursing Support Services-Nursing Admin--BHIP

Overview

The Manager, Nursing Support Services provides oversight of daily nursing operations and delivery of nursing care, nurse staffing, and clinical education. This role ensures evidence-based practices are maintained for optimal patient outcomes and translates research into evidence-based practice for nursing staff. They serve as the nursing administrative lead for the nursing supervision staff and provide strategically aligned education/training to achieve outcomes consistent with the facility's strategic nursing plan.

• Oversee daily nursing operations and the delivery of nursing care.
• Manage nurse staffing and oversee clinical education.
• Ensure evidence-based practices are maintained and translate research into practice for nursing staff.
• Serve as the nursing administrative lead for the nursing supervision staff.
• Provide strategically aligned education/training to achieve outcomes aligned with the facility's nursing plan.

• Bachelor s degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program/school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN or MSN).

• Five years of related experience.
• Experience as a House/Nursing/Administrative Supervisor.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
• Basic Life Support required.
