An established acute care hospital in Margate is seeking a Nurse Manager – Medical Telemetry to lead a 32–36 bed telemetry unit. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you will oversee operations, drive performance improvement, and ensure patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager will report directly to the Director of Nursing and lead a team that includes Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs).

Organize, manage, and evaluate patient care functions for the Medical Telemetry unit.

Oversee staffing, scheduling, and education to enhance patient outcomes.

Serve as a role model for clinical excellence, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.

Implement performance improvement and quality monitoring processes.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff.

Current Florida RN license or compact licensure eligible for practice in Florida – Required.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing – Required.

BLS and ACLS certifications (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in an acute care setting – Required.

Prior leadership or management experience preferred.
