Manufacturing Supervisor

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $50000 - $80000

Shift: 2nd shift - 2PM-10:30PM

• Lead operational activities for production personnel and processes, including product assembly, welding, testing, and packaging.

• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements within manufacturing operations.

• Investigate and resolve manufacturing process issues utilizing problem-solving methodologies such as 8
  
  Ds.

• Plan, acquire, and train new associates to support production needs.

• Implement Lean Principles and Value Stream Management to optimize workflow and efficiency.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in shop floor leadership with direct reports.

• Extensive experience in manufacturing environments.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Proficiency with Six Sigma, Lean, and Quality tools.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
