Assembly Team Lead
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay: $21–$25/hour (based on experience)
Shifts: Multiple shifts available
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and HVAC solutions, is seeking a motivated Assembly Team Lead to support and guide assembly line operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing strong, high‑performing teams.
What You’ll Do- Lead and coordinate daily assembly line operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety
- Train, mentor, and support team members; assist with onboarding and cross‑training
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure components and finished products are completed on time to meet production schedules
- Inspect finished products, identify quality issues, and manage non‑conforming materials
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues quickly
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or HVAC environment
- Previous team lead or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of assembly tools, processes, and work instructions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and support a team
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
