Join MITER Brands as a Maintenance Technician - Day Shift and play an essential role in maintaining our manufacturing equipment and production lines.

• Extensive interaction with maintenance management teams and other individuals within the company.
• Follow all maintenance and mechanical equipment troubleshooting procedures.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisor, lead, and coworkers in the company.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Administer general preventative maintenance duties utilizing the maintenance system.
• Detect malfunctions in machinery, diagnose problems, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Work independently and safely with limited supervision.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot frame welders, automated and manual lines (e.g., rollers, belts, motors, and chains), and facility equipment such as lighting, air compressor, overhead doors, etc.
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance and punctuality, including flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Use MIG and TIG welding tools and techniques to repair and maintain equipment.
• May be required to perform other maintenance duties and functions or assist in other departments as needed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic, mechanical, pneumatic systems.
• Experience operating a variety of hand tools and equipment.
• MIG and TIG welding experience or fabrication is preferred.
• Active participation as a member of the team and willingness to maintain high levels of productivity, occasionally sustaining longer working hours when necessary.
• Attention to detail, established procedures, and strong organizational skills.
• Solid English language reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required MVR and background checks.
