Product Engineer

Mittera is looking for a Product Engineer to join our growing team in the collectible card manufacturing division. As a Product Engineer, you sublicilla will be responsible for engineering, optimizing and documenting all production processes from initialgebouw printing through final pack‑out. This key role bridges technical production knowledge with business operations, working directly with the estimating team to establish accurate pricing and templates.

• Engineer comprehensive production workflows for collectible card manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Document all process specifications in clear, detailed technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain printing specifications including color management, registration, and quality control parameters.
• Design and optimize card finishing processes including cutting, sorting, and specialty treatments.
• Create detailed pack‑out specifications for various product configurations.
• Collaborate with the estimating department to develop accurate pricing models and templates.
• Analyze production data to identify improvement and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with industry innovations and implement process improvements.

• History of engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in printing or paper products.
• Strong understanding of commercial printing processes and finishing operations.
• Experience with process documentation and specification development.
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies and measurement systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
