Overview

Mittera is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our growing team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems that ensure our products consistently meet and exceed the highest industry standards. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence in our printing and collectible card production.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections (in process, incoming and final) per procedures.
  • Release all acceptable finished goods, quarantine problematic finished goods for QA analysis.
  • Collect, review, and distribute Customer Samples based on Customer requirements.
  • Collect, review, and file Retains.
  • Conduct WIP quality checks in each production department.
  • Quarantine production that is outside of normal Mittera quality standards.
  • Sort nonconforming product when required.
  • Notify Management immediately when any quality issue jeopardizes the completion of the order specified quantity.
  • Ensure tests and procedures are properly followed during production.
  • Provide other assistance to the Quality Assurance Manager as requested.
  • Work proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures and instructions.
  • Perform all duties according to established safety policy, including wearing any required PPE as applicable.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ensure security of confidential customer records and data.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, working independently and/or within a team.
  • And other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read and write English.
  • Self-starter and/or team player with strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Courteous professional manner when interacting with all employees.
  • Solid technology skills with ability to utilize and learn various types of technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Efficient and high standards of accuracy and organization in performing tasks.
  • Strong decision making skills and ability to prioritize work; effective time management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; good vision and mathematical competency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Internet, and email).
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization while maintaining integrity and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Experience with production tracking systems and software to monitor performance, optimize processes, and ensure efficient operations.
