Wire Technician

Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Wire Technician to join our production and engineering team. This role is highly hands‑on and will play a key part in the wiring, assembly, and integration of electrical systems used in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent technical skills, and a passion for building high‑quality, reliable products.

• Assemble, route, and terminate wiring harnesses and electrical components according to engineering drawings and schematics.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and mechanical assembly documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support prototype builds, new product development, and ongoing production.
• Perform testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with internal standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot wiring or component issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wiring assemblies, modifications, and process changes.
• Ensure all work adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing processes and electrical design efficiency.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 2+ years of experience in wiring, electrical assembly, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the use of wiring tools, crimping, soldering, and electrical test equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and process improvement.
